louisiana tech university art scholarships

$15,000 in scholarships for students at Louisiana Tech University's School of Art.

In order to receive a Louisiana Tech Art Scholarship, students must be a graduating senior, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and meet Louisiana Tech admission requirements.

Judgement will be based on creativity, technique, and/or communication of an idea. All works must be carefully packed flat and shipped in a reusable cardboard carton. Group shipment is encouraged. Hand deliveries will be accepted between 9am and 4pm in the Art Office. Winners will be notified by early February.

Graphic Design
Submit one 11"x 17" poster communicating some aspect of one of Shakespeare's plays in any two dimensional medium. The use of type is strongly encouraged.

Work should be individually mounted on foam board and wrapped in acetate.

Studio Art
A minimum of three and a maximum of six works on paper consisting of black and white and/or color should be submitted. Entries should not be framed or matted, sized no larger than 18" x 24".

Photography
A minimum of five and a maximum of ten photographs may be submitted. Work can be any size up to 11" x 14". Do not frame. Mat board is okay for protection, but not necessary. Black and white or color prints only. No slides will be accepted.
