Louisiana Tech University School of Art Studio BFA Exhibition 2013 is hosting their opening reception in the F. Jay Taylor Visual Arts Center from 5 – 7 pm. It features a selection of paintings, drawings, sculpture, and ceramics from the graduating students of the Louisiana Tech University School of Art.

Participating Artists
The six graduating seniors are: Laura Eberhart is from Mandeville, LA. She illustrates the strife and repression of females throughout the decades in her body of work. Cindy Gibson is from Ruston, LA; her ceramic sculptures showcase the darker side of nature. Whitney Hicks is from Shreveport, LA and she intermingles interior design and art into a wide assortment of sculptures. Amanda Jamroz is from Benton, LA. Jamroz focuses on rejuvenating processes in her wooden sculptures. Daniel Moore is from Sterlington, LA and he depicts an array of isolating imagery in his paintings. Gaelin Reese is from Shreveport, LA; she uses different mixed media methods to illustrate memories with collected objects.


The School of Art Galleries are located in the F. Jay Taylor Visual Arts Center at 1 Mayfield Street, Ruston, LA 71272. Gallery hours are from 9 am – 4 pm, Monday through Friday. Artworks are available for purchase. For more information, please contact the School of Art at 318-257-3909.
